No shoes inside. Please leave your shoes in the foyer when you come home (you can put them in the shoe/mail bin belonging to the Agape resident whose room you're staying in.
Leave No Trace. Please help us in optimizing our home for collaborative space by maintaining tidiness and a “Leave No Trace” benchmark, and asking your guests to do the same. This includes washing/drying all of your dishes immediately after use, taking out the trash/recycling/compost when it is full and not leaving personal items out in communal spaces.
The kitchen is mostly communal. Help yourself to anything you see on the counters, cupboards, shelves and right-side of the fridge. There is also a space for you to keep personal food on the left-side of the fridge. Items in the pantry are roommates' personal food. We usually have a house dinner every Monday, and you are more than welcome to join!
There is a laundry room in the basement as well as detergent you’re welcome to use, and a magnet labeled “guest” for you to put on the washer/dryer during use, so others know who to bug in case of any abandoned clothes.
We generally try to practice quiet hours from 11pm-8am Sunday-Thursday nights, and a little bit later on the weekends. This isn't always the case, so if anyone is disturbing your peace, feel free to let them know to quiet down.
There are a million amazing nooks and crannies you’re welcome to experience during your stay. Don’t hesitate to ask for a tour if you’d like to see for yourself!
If you have any questions or need anything during your stay, please ask the resident who invited you or email elliemacbride@gmail.com.
